Sheikh Ahmed Sameer and Sheikh Mohamed Samooh received a warm welcome upon their arrival in ADh. Dhangethi on Thursday for a weekend religious program featuring a series of lectures and sessions for different groups within the community.

The program began on Thursday night with a special workshop for parents titled “Building a Proud Generation.” Facilitated by Sheikh Ahmed Sameer, the session drew strong participation from both mothers and fathers and focused on the important role of parents in raising and guiding the next generation.

On Friday morning, Sheikh Sameer and Sheikh Samooh conducted the “Teens Iman Circle,” a session designed for students between the ages of 13 and 16. The program provided young participants with religious guidance tailored to the challenges faced during their teenage years.

Following Asr prayer on Friday, Sheikh Mohamed Samooh delivered a religious lecture at Masjid al-Tazkira.

The main event of the weekend, a keynote lecture titled “Danger,” was delivered by Sheikh Ahmed Sameer at the Dhangethi harbor area on Friday night. The lecture attracted a large audience from the community.

During the address, Sheikh Sameer highlighted a number of religious challenges facing Muslims and emphasized the importance of recognizing these concerns and striving for reform while there is still an opportunity to do so.

The weekend program continued on Saturday morning with a session on “Sincerity in Professional Conduct,” organized for employees of various institutions operating on the island.

The series of programs was jointly organized by Jamiyyathul Salaf, Dhangethi Council, the Women’s Development Committee (WDC), Jamiyyathul Qalam, Jamiyyathul Anwaar, and the Youth Club, bringing together several local organizations and institutions in a collaborative effort to promote religious awareness and community development.
